A New Year’s intention for all

Earlier today I saw an article at Brain Pickings that suggested  that intention might be a better name for all those promises we make to ourselves at this time of the year. Whatever you call it, here’s something that all Toastmasters can get behind.

9. Speak fearlessly. Speak up when a friend or family member violates your boundary—even if it rocks the boat. Share your ideas in the staff meeting even if your voice shakes and the words don’t come out as eloquently as you want them to.
